Arde R. Goode
Obituary
Arde R. Goode, age 86, went home to his Savior, Jesus Christ on Sunday, February 12, 2023, after a lengthy illness.
He was born in Knifley, Kentucky on October 13, 1936, to the late Creola (nee: Knifley) and Beckham Goode Sr. Arde served in the US Army from 1960-1962. He retired from Air Craft Breaking Systems and Akron Brass.
Arde leaves behind his beloved wife of 60 years, Linda; daughters, Kelly (Tom) Stump, Kimberly (Craig) Cook, and Kristy Goode; brothers, Beckham Goode Jr. and Michael Goode; sister, Shirley (Dave) Ward; 9 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank the staff at Life Care Center of Medina for their special care.
Funeral Services will be held, FRIDAY, February 17, 2023, at 12:30pm at Cox- McNulty Funeral Home, 1376 High Street, Wadsworth. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:30-12:30pm at the funeral home. Burial with full military honors will follow at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Seville.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
