Betty Jo “BJ” Beres, age 74, passed away October 11, 2024. She was born on May 4, 1950, in Barberton, Ohio and enjoyed bowling. BJ was fond of going on bus trips but especially enjoyed trips with friends to the casinos, spending time with her niece and nephew, as well as enjoyed music and arts.

Betty Jo is preceded in death by her parents, Jospeh and Irene Beres. She is survived by her sister, Judy (Ron) Campagna; niece, Jessica Campagna; nephew, Nicholas Campagna (Bethany Stone); and numerous extended family and friends.

Calling Hours will be Thursday, October 17, 2024, from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at Prince of Peace Parish Church at 1263 Shannon Avenue, Barberton, Ohio 44203. Funeral Services will follow immediately after and Burial will occur at Holy Cross Cemetery, 100 East Waterloo Road, Akron, Ohio 44319.
