Bobby M. Carnifax

Bobby M. Carnifax, age 91, passed away November 9, 2022. He was born April 18, 1931 in Ramsay, WV.

Bobby served in the U.S. Marine Corps and retired with 40 years of service from Babcock & Wilcox. He enjoyed the outdoors and repairing lawnmowers in his pastime. At the age of 80 he helped to take care of his twin great nephews.

Preceded in death by parents, WH and Sarah Carnifax; siblings, Bill, Dale, Ray, Wanda, Karen, Jackie Carnifax, and Betty Fields; children, Opal Hensley, Paul and Benny Carnifax; and infant granddaughter, Katie.

Survived by wife, Carolyn Wood; daughter, Bonnie (John) Wilson; son, Bobby (Colleen) Carnifax; grandchildren, Rick (Alicia) Carnifax, Ben (Nicole) Carnifax, Erin Hensley, Josh (Katie) Wilson, Kaeli Duffield, and Austin Carnifax; great grandchildren, Noah, Evelyn, Mercedes, Savanna, Drew, Luke, Callie, and Dailyn; sisters, Jean Kincaid and Anna Clay; great nephews, Ashwin and Kiran Naidu-Clause; and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at 4:00 pm with a visitation from 3-4 pm prior to the service at Cox-McNulty Funeral Home, 222 Norton Ave, Barberton.
