Bonnie Jean Provchy Obituary

Bonnie Jean Provchy, age 87, passed away March 16, 2024.


Bonnie was a loving mother of four children. She was tenacious, strong, and enduring. She had a sense of humor and enjoyed hobbies such as crocheting, bingo with friends, and playing cards. Her children will tell you she was a good cook, and always made time to be involved in their lives.


She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Nellie Young; husband, Daniel Provchy; daughter, Darlene O’Brien; granddaughter, Susan Britton; siblings, Jewell Kimmel, Nina Young, Fred Young, Charles Young, Bettie Beckett, James Young; and previous husband, George Dujanovic.


Bonnie is survived by children, George (Sherri) Dujanovic, Denise (Brian) Pennino, and Kenneth (Tina) Dujanovic; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.


Funeral service will be Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at 11:30 AM at Cox-McNulty Funeral Home, 222 Norton Ave, Barberton with Pastor Steve Leathley officiating. Interment to follow at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville, Ohio. Family will receive friends from 10:30-11:30 AM prior to the service on Wednesday.
