Brenda A. Collins

Born March 14, 1959, in Barberton, Ohio, passed away on February 1, 2025, at the age of 65.

Brenda struggled with diabetes for many years, from the age of 12 until her last breath.

She will be remembered for her love of tie-dye, peace signs, tattoos, and sitting quietly with her can of Pepsi. Brenda always made room for laughter and jokes, enjoying playful banter with her family.

She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Jennifer Archila (Alex); grandchildren: Alyssa Bogart, Jaren Fundak, Matthew Archila, and Ashley Archila; sister, caretaker, and best friend, Cathy Francis (Anthony); brothers: Lawrence Collins, Jr. and Tony Collins (Sue); special nephew, Anthony Francis, Jr.; special niece, Sharayah Garrett (Tony); and many more nieces, nephews, and friends.

Brenda is preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence “Bud” Collins and Karen Collins; sister, Shelly Collins; and brothers: Vincent Collins and Baby Arlen Collins.

Calling hours will take place on Thursday, February 6, 2025, from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. at Cox-McNulty Funeral Home in Barberton, Ohio.
