Brenda Sue Miller, age 74, passed away on October 4, 2025. Born in Bridgeport, West Virginia, Brenda spent most of her life in Akron, Ohio, where she built a loving home and community. She retired early from Sterling Jewelers, cherishing her time with family and friends.

Brenda was preceded in death by her beloved husband and soul mate, Steven Miller, her brother Chuck Batton, and her mother Esther.

She is survived by her children Tammy Miller (David), Steve Miller, and Kim Penotte; grandchildren Gabrielle Williams, Kaitlin, Daniel and Joseph Penotte, Madison and Tyler Miller; and great-grandchild Ivan Williams. Brenda is also survived by many close friends who became like family to her.

Brenda found joy in motorcycle rides and poker runs, especially with her motorcycle club community, tending to her flower beds, and painting ceramics. Her painted pieces remain as cherished keepsakes.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you remember Brenda by spending time with loved ones and enjoying the simple pleasures of life.

Visitation will be held Thursday, October 9, 2025, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Cox-McNulty Funeral Home, 222 Norton Avenue, Barberton, Ohio, with no service to take place at this time.
