Carol Louise Harman, 83, of Uniontown, passed away July 28, 2021. She was born April 16, 1938 in Akron to Wayne and Alice Spicer. In 1957, she married Thomas Edward Harman of Youngstown. Carol was a dedicated, loving wife and mother. She worked for Ohio Bell as a young woman and later served as a school bus driver for Lake Local Schools. Carol was also a Girl Scout Troop Leader before starting a long-running craft business with her beloved husband, Tom. Carol loved being at the beach with her family. She also treasured her lifelong childhood friends and always looked forward to spending time with them. Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Wayne and Alice Spicer; her husband of nearly 60 years, Thomas E. Harman; and her daughter Beverly Oxford. She is survived by her sister Susan Colando; children Deborah (Bob) Bailey of North Canton, OH; Thomas (Amy) Harman of Akron, OH; Vickie (Mitch) Shue of Clemson, SC; and Beverly's spouse Ray Oxford; nine grandchildren, Michael (Ashley), Shelly, Daniel, Ben (Megan), David, Andrew (Connie), Christopher, Mitchie, and Carly (Zander); three great grandchildren, Abigail, Mackenzie, Kristian.
Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 2, 2021 at Cox-McNulty Funeral Home, 222 Norton Ave., Barberton, OH 44203. Burial to follow at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery 10175 Rawiga Rd., Seville, OH 44270. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 9:30-11:00 a.m.
