Cathryn M. Eberhardt, A.K.A. “Cauchy”, age 95, went home to be with the Lord on March 5, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Cathy loved the Lord and was a faithful member of the Apostolic Church of Barberton.  She enjoyed many trips over the years with the sixty plus group from her church.  Cathy worked as a cook for the Barberton City Schools before retiring in 1994. Cathy enjoyed going out to eat, you could often find her with friends at Angie’s Italian Restaurant in Barberton.

She is preceded in death by her husband, William Joseph Eberhardt; sisters: Betty Anger and Sue Shirey; brother, Paul Chuha; and lifelong friend, Pauline Linger. 

Remaining to cherish her memory are her children: Gary Kroska and William “Billy” (Kimberly) Eberhardt; her grandchildren: Stephen Kroska, Amanda Coyne, McKayla and Mackenzie Eberhardt; her great grandchildren: Stephen Dylan Kroska, Jackson Coyne and Baby Coyne; as well as special friends: Delores Bicksler and Fred Martin.

The family would like to thank Traditions Health Hospice for helping us care for Cathy in her final days. We owe a debt of gratitude to Stacey Whited and Shelly Teodosio for the excellent care they gave Cathy over the past few months and a special thank you to Kimberly and McKayla Eberhardt for their extra special care of Cathy as well.

Funeral will be held at the Apostolic Church of Barberton, located at 1717 Turkeyfoot Lake Road on Sunday, March 9, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. The family will receive friends, one hour prior to the service, from 2:00-3:00 p.m.

Memorial donations in Cathy’s memory may be made to the Apostolic Church of Barberton.
