Charlene Garrett
Char went home to be with the lord on June 10, 2022. She was born and raised in Barberton, Ohio.
She was a beautician at Wallis and then at Shear Magic. Char was a mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, friend to a lot of people in this unique small town. Char and her best friend, Cathy Rowan, enjoyed going to bingo every week. She also enjoyed cooking Sunday dinner and trips to the beach.
Preceded in death by her parents, Dee and Frank Thomas; her love, Ray; and childhood best friend, Cathy Cooks.
Char is survived by her son, Jeff Fisher from Barberton, Ohio and son, Joe Croft (Bonnie Croft) from Wesley Chapel, Florida; grandchildren, Justin Crumb, Chelsea Neaves (Jesi Neaves), Shiann Fisher, Shane Fisher, Hillary Croft, and Hunter Croft; sister, Dagmar Fisher-Byers; and brother-in-law, Kenny Byers; nieces; nephews; and her dog, Suzie.
Memorial service will be held Saturday, July 9, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Barberton Church of God, 885 N Summit St, Barberton.
