Christine Rose Martinez

Christine Rose Martinez passed away May 2, 2021. She was born on March 10, 1958 in Santa Clara, CA and lived in Sacramento, CA most of her life until she moved to Akron where she spent the last 15 years.

Preceded in death by her father, Patrick Marangi; mother, Melba Marangi; and father-in-law, Charles Martinez.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Martinez Jr.; daughters, Christine (Miguel) Perez and Lisa Martinez; her one and only granddaughter, Charli Shannon; mother-in-law, Carmen Martinez- Salcido; sisters, brothers, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and so many friends.

Her family was a big part of her life; she loved outings, BBQs, and parties. The bond that she had with her Charli was the light of her life; baking brownies was their specialty.

Chris will be remembered by her smile. She loved everyone and she enjoyed baking and making baskets for her family, friends and customers. Gambling was her joy; slot machines, and scratchers.

She will be truly missed, but never forgotten.

Memorial Services will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at Cox- McNulty Funeral Home, 222 Norton Avenue, Barberton. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00-2:00pm at the funeral home.
