David C Thomas

David C. Thomas, age 71, of the Copley/Norton area, passed away September 22, 2020.  Born December 9, 1948, he was a 1966 graduate of Norton High School.  David was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the Vietnam War. He worked at Ohio Brass, Reeves Electric and owned D.C. Electric. David enjoyed the outdoors, camping, model making, painting and watching wrestling.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Cyril & Margaret Thomas and his son, David Thomas, Jr.

He will be greatly missed by his daughters, Veronica (Dallas) Knapp and Linda VanHoy (Chris Savage); and son, Sean Thomas; brother, Michael G. Thomas; sisters, Sandra (Dan) Royer and Aimee Lelonek; eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren; his best friend, Gary Hoschar along with many extended family members and friends.  Funeral service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at Cox-McNulty Funeral Home, 222 Norton Ave. in Barberton with Father Robert Jackson officiating.  Family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:30a.m.-12:30p.m.  Burial will take place at Copley Cemetery.
