BARBERTON - - Debra K. Caruso, 63, went home to be with the Lord March 9, 2021. Born in Barberton, she was a lifelong resident. Debi was a beloved wife mother, and homemaker, and decorative cake baker. She loved singing, was always ready for a lively conversation leaving her the nickname "Gabby," enjoyed driving, and dearly loved her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Clark E. and Helen Joyce Gable. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Tony Caruso; sons, Joe (Mandy) Caruso, Mario (Rachel) Caruso, Vinny (Paige) Caruso; daughter, Angie Caruso; grandchildren, Ainsley, Liam, and Ellie Caruso; brothers, Greg, Mark, and Chris (Dawn) Gable. She was a loving wife to Tony, whom she affectionately called "The Godfather." Debi and Tony met in S. Carolina only to discover they both graduated from Barberton only a couple years apart. She deeply loved her parents and tried to make nearly everyone "family." Her compassion led her to many friendships and "God loves you" conversations everywhere she went. Through any struggle, she would always remind all of us to trust in Christ. Visitation will take place Monday, March 15th at 2:30-6:30pm followed by Pastor Dan Gregory conducting a service at 6:30pm at Grace Church, Norton Campus, 3970 S Cleveland Massillon Rd., Norton, OH 44203. A private internment will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, should friends desire, memorials may be made to Rahab Ministries, PO Box 20765, Canton, OH 44701.
