It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Diane Arman, who peacefully left us on February 13, 2024, succumbing to complications of Huntington’s Disease. Born on December 7, 1956, in Akron, Ohio, Diane's journey was one of resilience and warmth, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew her.
During her earlier years, Diane's melodic voice graced the halls of Kenmore High School as she sang with the Madrigals. She touched the lives of countless children as a beloved camp counselor at Ohio Baptists Acres. She pursued her education at Baptist Bible College and Springfield Missouri College, shaping her into the compassionate soul she was known to be.
California became her home for 36 years, where she embraced life with unwavering gusto before eventually yearning to reunite with her roots and family in Ohio. Diane found joy in simple pleasures, indulging in thrift stores and yard sale adventures, cherishing moments with family and friends, and passionately supporting the Cleveland Browns.
Diane was preceded in death by her dear mother, Amilda Jean Arman, her father, Thomas Wayne Arman, and her cherished canine companions: Jinx, Cinder, Orsen, Buddy, Gorgie Girl, and Ohona. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and cherished memories.
She is survived by her dear best friend, Karen Ueda, her loving brothers Terry Arman (Lynda) and Gary Arman (Pam), her devoted sisters Linda Arman-Meshkin (Bahman) and Valerie Robinson (Frank), as well as 16 adoring nieces and nephews. Diane's caregivers – Tamara, Salud, and Rena – held a special place in her heart, alongside countless friends, family members, and loved ones.
