Diane Baker

Diane Baker (nee Hileman), born December 12, 1955, passed away on April 23, 2024.

Diane was a majorette at Barberton High School where she graduated in 1974. She then went on to graduate college and work at St. Thomas Hospital and Akron City Hospital. Diane was a member of Winning Side Baptist Church in Norton, Ohio. She loved dancing, going shopping, and getting her hair and nails done.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Albert Hileman and Charlotte Nottingham; and brothers, Dennis Hileman and Jimmy Nottingham.

Diane is survived by her children, Jenny (David) McWilliams, Michael (Melissa) Matthews, Kevin (Natasha) Matthews, Michelle Sutter, and Curtis Baker II; grandchildren, Alyssa, Serena, Heaven, Nikari, Madden, Emma, Ava, Aden, Jada, and Cambre; great-grandchild, Laila; and cousins Tim (Diane) Hileman, Henry (Cindy) Hileman, and Barbara (Bradford) Leggett.

Calling hours will take place from 12:00-1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at Cox-McNulty Funeral Home, 222 Norton Ave, Barberton, OH. A service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Tim Hileman officiating. Interment to take place at Lakewood Cemetery in Akron, Ohio.
