Long-time resident of Akron, Ohio, Donald Paul Snyder died Monday, August 3, 2020. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, on June 10, 1934, to Marion and Charlotte Snyder, Don, also known as Paul, graduated from Lebanon High School, Lebanon, Ohio, in 1952, and from Kent State in 1960. He honorably served in the United States Air Force from 1953 to 1961, and eventually retired from Akron publc schools as a mathematics teacher. He also delighted in big band music, even playing trombone well into his adult life.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Mary Lou, and his younger brother, Robert. He is survived by his nieces, Robyn, Cynthia, and Jacquelyn, and nephew, Paul, and their mother.
A heartfelt thanks goes to his dear friends, K. Colette Tsoflias, Ken Johnson, and Russell and Lynda McAlonie for their care and concern shown to our uncle over the years.
