Earl H. Zickefoose Obituary
Earl H. Zickefoose, age 101, passed away December 12, 2023. He was born January 28, 1922 in Akron, Ohio.
Earl previously attended Wadsworth Church of the Nazarene. He graduated from Buchtel High School and retired from Metro Transit Authority.
Preceded in death by wife, Leona; parents, Joshua and Dora; grandson, David; daughter-in-law, Julie; brothers, Ulisses, Marvin, Lloyd, and Robert; and sister, Gladys Roth.
He is survived by children, Dale, Diane Maynard (Al Soles), and Dane; grandchildren, Dale II, Bridgette (David) Honeck, and Justin; and good friend, Tom Collier.
Funeral service will be Monday, December 18, 2023 at 11:00 am at Cox-McNulty Funeral Home, 1376 High St, Wadsworth, OH with Pastor Faron Cole officiating. Interment will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Akron. Family will receive friends Sunday from 2-5 pm and Monday from 10-11 am. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Eastern Road Church of God, 2600 Eastern Rd, Rittman, OH 44270.
