Faron Dean Conrad

Faron Dean Conrad, 52, of New Franklin, suddenly passed away July 25, at Barberton Summa Hospital.

Faron was born on August 23, 1967 in Olean, NY and grew up in Barberton, OH. Faron was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph Sr. and Nancy Carol Conrad and brother Michael John Conrad. Faron is survived by his wife of 24 years, Kimberly Cundiff Conrad; beloved son, Evan Dean; beloved daughter, Erin Kathleen Conrad; brother, Ralph L Conrad Jr.; sister, Elizabeth Nescola; aunts, Shirley Myers (Robert) and Jeanette Conrad; mother and father in law, Dale and Terry Cundiff; brothers in law, Kenny and Jeff (Dauna) Cundiff, and Joseph Dye; sisters in law, Ashley Wilhelm (Jeff), Lisa Dye and Rachel Dye; 13 nieces and nephews; 5 great nieces and nephews, and his dog, Sailor Boy!

Faron was a member of The Barberton Civitan Club and The Barberton Liedertafel Club where he enjoyed singing Karaoke with his Thursday night Karaoke family. His most proud achievement in life was marrying his wife, Kimberly Conrad, who supported him in all his glory during his heyday, and lovingly supported him physically during their last days together. Faron had a heart of gold; he never met a stranger that he wouldn’t go out of his way to talk to. He was blessed with the “gift of gab”. He enjoyed vacationing in the Caribbean and spending time with his family and friends. He loved his family dearly and was a true rock star in their lives and many others.

Per Faron's request, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held, August 15, from 3:00- 8:00pm at the Barberton Liedertafel Club, 191 2nd St NW, Barberton OH 44203. In Faron's honor, guests are asked to wear their favorite bandana and sing a song!

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cox- McNulty Funeral Home to offset expenses or donate to the research of HLH in Faron's name.
