Gareth Lee Oser

Gareth Lee Oser, age 90, died peacefully August 4, 2025, at Altercare Wadsworth Nursing Home. Known as Gary, he was born in Cleveland, Ohio on January 12, 1935, to Henry H. and Eveline A. Oser. He graduated in 1952, from Parma Senior High School, shortly after which he enlisted in the U.S. Navy and was stationed out of the San Diego Naval Base in California. He was married and divorced twice. He retired from Fastener Industries, Inc. and lived in Medina for a number of years.

He is survived by two sisters: Lynette Oser Mann and Elaine Oser Zingg; two adult daughters: Sharon Johnson and Allison Sommerfield; his grandchildren: Joshua Sommerfield, Amanda Sommerfield and Brittany Sommerfield; and his great-grandson, Raymon Bruce Sommerfield Jones. 

Per Gary's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no public services at this time.
