Garry Lee Burns, aged 72, passed away on April 2, 2026 in Barberton, OH. Garry was born on December 28, 1954, in Barberton, OH where he lived most of his life. Garry proudly served in the Marines during the Vietnam war. He then did foundry work until he retired. An avid outdoors-man, Garry also enjoyed hiking, hunting and fishing. Garry was known for his vibrant sense of humor and the deep love he held for his family.

Garry was a loving husband to his wife of 53 years, Bonnie Burns, and a devoted father and grandfather. He leaves behind a loving family, including his sons, Andrew (Tiffany) and Matthew; daughter, Jennifer (Wayne); grandchildren, Brandi, Melinda (Charlie), Christian (Macailia), Matthew, Raya, Tommy, Katelynn, and Kaylani; and seven great-grandchildren, with another cherished addition on the way, brother Hubert (Judy) and sister Georgia. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Garry was preceded in death by his parents Larry and Georgia, Siblings Larry, Elaine, Bernie, Caroline, Candy, Lolly, son Garry Jr and Daughter-in-Law Dana.

Private services will be held by the family at a later date.
