Glenn M. Sheller, 87, passed away at home in Wadsworth, Ohio, on July 10, 2024, following a long illness.

Glenn was well-known in Medina County after serving 34 years as a Guilford Township Trustee and serving on many township and county committees.

He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Gloria Ruth (Kramer) Sheller.

Other survivors include sons Glenn Marvin Sheller Jr. (Fiona Maclean), Thomas Sheller (Aisha Sheller) and Jerry Sheller (Elizabeth Sheller), as well as grandchildren Anjelica, Nikhita, Grant, Brian, and Sierra.

He was born in in Akron in 1936 to the late Velma (Fried) Sheller and Charles Sheller.

He spent his career in the construction trades, most of it as an electrician with Community Electric.

Glenn was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, boating, water skiing, motorcycling and golf. He also was a licensed private pilot, and flew to a variety of places, including the Bahamas. In the course of his travels, he visited all 50 states.

He was a part-time resident of the Mariner’s Cove community in Estero, Florida, where he maintained a residence and was well-known as a skilled shuffleboard player.

Cremation was arranged by Cox-McNulty Funeral Home.
