Gloria Ann Vanke, age 75, passed away August 4, 2024. She was born October 9, 1948, to Frank and Anne Gavinesky in Wadsworth, Ohio. She graduated Wadsworth high school in 1967 and married Dennis H. Vanke on October 7, 1972. Gloria worked at Westfield Insurance and Grace Lutheran Church and dearly loved her 3 grandchildren: Liam, Braxton and Sophia.

She is preceded in death by her mother, father and brother, Daniel. Gloria is survived by her husband, Dennis; sons: Dennis, Jr. and Jason; her 3 grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Shari Gavinesky and Mary Vanke; cousins: Debbie Trenta, David Rodich, Kevin Adams and Sue Ellen Ries; niece, Stacy Gavinesky; and good friends: Beth Miklos and Nanci Sullivan.

The family will receive friends on Monday, August 12, 2024 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Cox-McNulty Funeral Home, 222 Norton Ave, Barberton, Ohio. Funeral services for Gloria will take place Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the Grace Lutheran Church, 146 High St, Wadsworth, Ohio.
