Gwendolyn “Gwen” Ann Seeman, age 83, of Wadsworth, Ohio left us on Monday, July 6, 2026.   She was born January 8, 1943, in Hastings, PA to John and Rita (Born) Beck.

Graduate of St. Vincent High School, 1960.  Gwendolyn married the love of her life Thomas (Tom) Seeman on June 20, 1964 and was blessed to celebrate 60 years of marriage with Tom.

Over her lifetime, she was a Hospice volunteer, Girl Scout leader, Alter and Rosary society member.  She also loved spending time at the campground, playing pinochle and bridge, doing her Sudoko and crossword puzzles, her genealogy trips with her family, and of course spending time with her children and grandchildren. She has been a member of Sacred Heart Church parish since 1965. 

Gwendolyn was preceded in death by her husband Thomas, parents John and Rita Beck, sister and brother-in-law Rainalda and Larry Dukeman.

Survived by her sister Calandra Beck, children Lisa (Seeman) and Mike Norstrom; Christopher (Chris) and Mary Ann Seeman; Craig and Janet Seeman; Lynne Bailey; Kevin and Kara Seeman; Kirk and Lynn Seeman; grandchildren Jonathan Norstrom, CJ and Jennifer Seeman, Brendan Seeman, Coletta and Alex Pirc; Steven Norstrom, Eric and Nicole Seeman, Leasha Bailey, Natalie Seeman, Julia Seeman, Kendall Bailey, Alexandra Seeman, TJ Seeman, Lauren Seeman, Lillian Seeman; greatgrandchild Preston Seeman.

The family would like to extend their deep appreciation for the amazing care and love given to Gwendolyn by Bradford House at Brethren Care Village, and Gentiva Hospice.  

Calling Hours will be Wednesday, July 15, from 4:00-7:00 at Cox-McNulty Funeral Home, 1376 High Street, Wadsworth, OH 44281.  Funeral Mass will be held Friday, July 17, at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church, 260 Broad Street, Wadsworth, OH 44281. Immediately followed by burial at Holy Cross Cemetery, 100 East Waterloo Rd, Akron, OH 44319
