Harvey Filmer Rager I passed away quietly in his sleep on January 19, 2024. He has reunited with his wife of 66 years that passed on September 27, 2020 after a long battle of health issues.

He is survived by daughters, Mary Jane Koesters (Rick) and Margaret Davis (Will); niece, Cindy Cole; his sons, Harvey Rager II (Connie), John Rager I, and David Rager; 8 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren and 1 more on the way.

Harvey loved his family so much. Harvey was a hard worker and dedicated to his family. He worked at Read-Benzol for many years and retired from Akromold. He had incredible work ethic. He took care of his wife for over 10 years. Harvey especially loved all his grandchildren and great-grand children. He will be greatly missed.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 25, 2024 from 1:00-2:00pm with funeral services to follow at Cox-McNulty Funeral Home, 222 Norton Ave, Barberton, Ohio. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery, 2580 Romig Road, Akron, Ohio 44320.
