Jacquelyn “Jackie” F. Elavsky passed away December 24, 2025. She was born on December 27, 1955, in Toledo, Ohio and was 69 years old. Jackie graduated from Ottawa Hills High School and Kent State University and retired from Toys R’ Us with 20 plus years of service. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Mary Cohen; and her parents-in-law, Edward and Frances (Rogel) Elavsky. Jackie is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Chip; her brother, Mark Cohen (Janis Saunier); her sister-in-law, Nancy (Charles) Peltier; as well as many nieces and nephews. 

A Celebration of Life will be held on January 24, 2026, from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. at M and M’s Taphouse, 523 West Tuscarawas Avenue, Barberton, Ohio 44203.
