James Edgar Pack

James Edgar Pack, age 85, of Wadsworth, OH, went home to be with the Lord on October 26, 2018.

James was born to the late George and Irene Pack on January 3, 1933, in Bellepoint, WV.

He was a remarkable Christian devoted to God and to his faith. He was a loving husband and father, loyal to friends, and was always there for anyone who needed him. He was a member of Gospel Light Baptist Church in Clinton, OH.

James served in the U.S. Army for three years and retired from Ford Motor Company with thirty years of service. He enjoyed many long years of retirement doing things he loved such as gardening, hunting, fishing, woodworking, camping and spending time with his family.

James is survived by his wife, Frieda; his children, Carolyn (Kenneth) Bates, Marianne (James) Kelley, Ralph (Theresa) Roland, Janet (Larry) Snider, Ruth (John) Wines; grandchildren, Eric Bates, Amy Green, Douglas Kelley, Jason Kelley, Steven Kelley, Riley Roland, Randy Roland, Timathy Roland, Shaun Roland, Devon Howdershelt, Brianna Worthington, Alexis Wines, Alex Wines, Jennifer Brooks, Loretta Brooks and Marilyn Britton; 30 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; sister, Freda Wood of Cool Ridge, WV. He is preceded in death by his son, Jerry Pack; grandsons, Waylon Pack and Christopher Roland; brother, Kenneth Pack.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at 11:00 am at Cox-McNulty Funeral Home, 1376 High St., Wadsworth. Family will receive friends prior to the service at the funeral home from 10:00-11:00 am. Interment will take place at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville.
