James "Jim" Sims Obituary

James Raleigh Sims "Jim", age 68, of Portage Lakes, Ohio, passed away July 5, 2020 peacefully at home surrounded by family. He was born on April 3, 1952 in Akron, Ohio to the late Bernard and Thelma Sims. Jim was a graduate of Coventry High School. Along with his parents, Jim is preceded in death by his sister, Sandra and brother, Jeff. Jim leaves behind his son, Jim (Christina) Sims; granddaughter, Audra and grandson Nate; brothers, Greg (Lynda) Sims, and Joshua Sims; sisters, Sharon (Andy) Lee, and Karen (Bryan) Montgomery; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

No services will be held at this time due to the pandemic. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
