Janet Grace Richter, 92 of Wadsworth, Ohio passed away on January 1, 2026.

Born on December 7, 1933, to Leo and Gladys Bidinger, Janet was a lifelong resident of Wadsworth. She worked at Buehler’s in Wadsworth for over 20 years before retiring.

Janet was married to Charles Richter and had four children.

She is survived by daughter Rebecca Abrams (nee Richter), and sons Richard Richter,  and John Richter (Gayle). She was preceded in death by husband Charles Richter and son David Richter.

She was an avid artist and craftswoman who was loved by her many friends and relatives. Janet was a member of Northside Christian Church for many years and enjoyed numerous bus trips and activities with Gods Gals.  She will always be remembered for her kindness, gentleness and beautiful smile.  

The family would like to thank in particular, Sandy Brennan, Mary Meeks and Debbie Lembo for their continued love, friendship and support to Janet. Thanks to the  staff at Woodlands of Liberty II, and in particular,  Katt,  Mary and Sherry.  Gentiva Hospice was a Godsend to the family.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 31 at 2:00 p.m. at Cox-McNulty Funeral Home, 1376 High Street, Wadsworth, Ohio, with service to follow at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association and are appreciated.
