Jeffery Gordon

Jeffery Gordon, age 80, passed away May 13, 2026.

He was born on March 14, 1946 in Barberton, Ohio. He worked at Babcock & Wilcox for 35 years before retiring and then driving over the road for 20 years.

Jeffery is preceded in death by his parents, Ora Ray and Evelyn Gordon; sisters, Gail Weigand and Lynn Fortney; brothers, Robert Gordon and Philip Gordon; and niece, Lisa Wagner.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Rebecca Gordon; son, Lance (Shannon) Gordon; and grandchildren, Ora, Hannah (Isaac) Fetter, and Miles Gordon. He also leaves behind Jeff Gordon and family; twin sister, Jennifer Alexander; several nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; and many friends.

A visitation for Jeffery will take place Tuesday, May 26, 2026 from 11:00 – 11:30 a.m. at Cox-McNulty Funeral Home, 222 Norton Ave, Barberton, OH. Deacon Adair will officiate the funeral service immediately following at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jeffery’s honor to Justin T. Rogers Hospice Care Center (3358 Ridgewood Rd, Fairlawn, OH 44333) or charity of your choice.
