Jeffrey A. Newman

Jeffrey A. Newman, 73, of Rittman, passed away on June 8th after a tough battle with cancer.

Jeffrey was born on June 17th, 1949, to Lois A. (Kane) and Raymond E. Newman and raised in Bay Village, Ohio. In 1969 after graduating high school, he served our country in the Army overseas in the Vietnam War. Following his service, he worked for 25 years at United Airlines where he met his wife.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Kathleen (Kelly) Newman; children, Scott E., Genevieve R., Phiala J., and Bridget M.; and his much-loved grandchildren, Chase and John Lesher.

A Celebration of Life will be held, Wednesday, June 21, 2023, at 1:00pm at Cox- McNulty Funeral Home, 1376 High Street, Wadsworth. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00-1:00pm at the funeral home. Inurnment will follow at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Seville, Ohio.
