Jennifer Cupp

Jennifer Cupp, age 42, passed away February 18, 2023. She was born on July 22, 1980 in Barberton, Ohio, to Josephine and James Cupp. Jennifer grew up in Barberton/Akron area all of her life and has made many lifelong friendships along the way. Jennifer graduated with a bachelors degree in computer science from Stark State College. She was most recently using this degree to help others start their businesses and generate websites for those businesses. 

Preceded in death by her grandparents and mother, Josephine Cupp. Survived by her father, James Cupp; daughter, Alyssa Lay (Tim); sister, Tina (William) Smith; nephew, William Jr. Smith (Diem); nieces, Tiffany (David) and Natasha Smith (GeQuan); great nephews, Kaiden Smith, Kyrie Fletcher; great nieces, Grace and Evelyn Elekes. 

Most people will remember Jennifer for extending kindness to them, even when others did not. She was always looking to help anyone or any animal in need. Her animals were a very important part of her life, and cherished. She will be remembered for her compassion and selflessness for the rest of our time. 

Jennifer’s calling hours will be held Friday, February 24 beginning at 2:00 p.m. and her service will follow at 4:00 p.m. at Cox-McNulty Funeral Home in Barberton, Ohio. Come and remember the wonderful woman that Jennifer was with us.
