Jerry Lee Stuckey, age 82, passed away on March 11, 2024.

He retired from the University of Akron, where he worked as a custodian for 20 years. Prior to his work at the university, he worked in dairy at Franchester Farms in West Salem. Outside of work, Jerry enjoyed being outside, working in his yard, and watching football.

Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, Roosevelt and Mildred Stuckey, and sister, Shirley Schultz.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Maxine Stuckey; children, Cynthia Lee (Michael) Foley, and Douglas S. Stuckey (Melissa Adkins); grandchildren, Joshua Ray (Katie), Jesse Ray, and Michael Foley II (Dakota); five great-grandchildren, and two honorary great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Monday, March 18, 2024 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Cox-McNulty Funeral Home, 222 Norton Ave., Barberton, with a memorial service to follow at 7:00 p.m.
