Jimmie Rodney Rinella, passed away peacefully at his home on September 26, 2024.
Jim was born on July 5, 1958 in Akron to parents Jimmie A and Norma Rinella. He graduated from Stow High School in 1977. He worked at Dentron, Proto Circuit, and devoted over 21 years working as a Machinist at ACS Industries in Kent until he retired in 2023.
Jim was an avid fisherman and was happiest when outdoors on his boat, camping, and around a bonfire with his friends and family. Everyone’s life was better having him in it. He often provided humor, a sense of adventure, and many stories, some of which remain untold, and that’s probably a good thing! He was a selfless person who loved animals, Cleveland sports teams, a good meal, gardening, coin collecting, and anything that would make him and others laugh. Jim’s greatest joy in life was being with his beloved wife, his beautiful daughters, his precious grandsons, and his adoring dogs.
Jim was preceded in death by parents, Jimmie A and Norma Rinella, brother-in-law Rick Neumann, close friends Duane (Butch) Cole, Anton (Tony) Buzaki, Kerry Oravec, and his beloved cat, Mittens. He leaves behind his wife Renee Rinella, daughters Jamie (Tylor) Radcliff and Kaylee (Brian) Piper, grandsons Mason and Zackary Piper, sisters Donna (Joe) Seiler and Karen Neumann, brother Chris Rinella, numerous extended family and friends, and his beloved dogs Toby and Tanner.
