John Patrick Fahey, age 80, passed away March 8, 2023 surrounded by family.
John was born June 19, 1942, in Parkersburg, West Virginia. He attended and graduated from St. Patrick’s High School in Weston, West Virginia, where he loved playing basketball. As he grew older, John became very religious and was an active member at St. Augustine Church in Barberton, Ohio, praying and giving to the Lord. In his free time, John enjoyed watching sports and car races on television. John will be remembered for being a soft spoken and kind person and will be missed dearly.
He is preceded in death by his sister, Patricia Richardson-Fahey. John is survived by his sisters, Sharon Querry, Mary Smith, and Elizabeth Cannon, whom he lived with for the past 33 years; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place and there will be no services at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Augustine Church (204 6th St NW, Barberton, OH 44203).
