John E. Stout, age 70, passed away unexpectedly on May 25, 2023. John was born in Akron, OH on August 9, 1952. He was a graduate of Barberton High School and retired from Bemis Packaging in Akron.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Lucy Stout; father, Earl Stout; and his mother and stepfather, Mary Jo and Willis Lawson.

John is survived by his son, Jason Stout; sister, Louise (Terry) Regenos; special cousin, John Overton Jr.; and extended family and friends.

Funeral service will take place Monday, June 5, 2023, at 1:00 pm at Cox-McNulty Funeral Home, 222 Norton Ave., Barberton, OH, with visitation prior to the service from 12:00 – 1:00 pm. Burial will take place at Greenlawn Cemetery in Akron, OH.

Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home in John’s name to offset costs.
