Karen Louise (Rummer) Mercer of Barberton, born May 17, 1944, to Irvin J. & Geraldine L. Rummer, passed away March 23, 2024, in her sleep.

She was the wife of Russell G. Mercer and the mother of Mark R. Mercer. Survived by brothers Glenn & Bonnie Rummer and Jim & Karen Rummer, sisters-in-law Kathy Rummer, Mary Jean Gibson, Ann Mercer, and Sally Pope. She was preceded in death by brothers Larry and Robert Rummer, brothers-in-law Dave, John, Paul, Dan Mercer and Tom & Judy Sanetrik.

A Celebration of Life service will take place Saturday, April 6, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Southwest Church of Christ (516 33rd St. S.W.) in Barberton, with dinner to follow. Ministers Brett Kendle and Mike Hawkins will officiate.
