Kathleen M. Domonkas

TOGETHER AGAIN--- Kathleen M. Domonkas, age 81, passed away on April 3, 2023. She was born on March 16, 1942, in Barberton, Ohio to the late James and Natalie Jean Gallagher. On July 30, 1960, she married Richard Domonkas at St. Augustine Parish in Barberton, Ohio. Kathleen was a devout Catholic. Richard and Kathleen retired to Madeira Beach, Florida where they lived for 15 years. She was a member and liked to socialize at the VFW and the Army Navy Club 250. Kathleen enjoyed spending time with her family and was proud of her Irish heritage. She enjoyed going to the casinos, playing slots, and watching football, especially the Cleveland Browns.

Kathleen was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 60 years, Richard; parents, James and Jean; father and mother-in-law, Richard and Elizabeth Domonkas; cherished son, Joseph; grandson, Vince; brother, Dennis; sister-in-law, Betty Ann; brother-in-law, Bob Daley; and niece, Chrissy.

She is survived by her children, Richard (Christine) Domonkas, Kathleen (Steven) Carter, Vincent (Debbie Owens) Domonkas, and Sharon Bryant; grandchildren Hannah, Elizabeth, Ericka, Jessica, Patrick, Vince, Jaison, Kailee, Kris, and Danielle and great granddaughters Elsie, Laila, and Khloe; great grandson, Coda; siblings, Patricia Daley, Berni Lewellyn, Jean & John Heineman, John & Terry Gallagher, Jim & Maureen Gallagher, Maureen & Pat Witschey, and Daniel Gallagher.

Also surviving are her brother-in-law, John (Connie) Domonkas; sisters-in-law, Roberta (Curt) Rosio and Rose Gallagher; along with several special cousins, nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

The family will hold a private Celebration of Life at a later date. If you’d like to make a contribution in Kathleen’s memory, the family would appreciate memorials be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
