Kathy Jo Cookro, age 54, passed away October 25, 2022. She was born on September 24, 1968 in Barberton, Ohio and grew up in Wadsworth.

Kathy enjoyed putting together puzzles, reading and most of all being surrounded by her family. Her infectious laugh always filled the room so you would know exactly where to find her. She always had open arms and an ear to listen to anyone in need. She was a dear friend and a mother figure to more than just her children, but to anyone who needed it. Kathy worked 12 years at Buehler's Fresh foods, starting at the Wadsworth location and soon moved to the Wooster MillTown location where she made countless friends that turned into her "work family."

Preceded in death by her sister, Theresa Noble; brother, Don Christian, and father, Jack Christian.

She is survived by her children, Josh Perdue, Kelsey Cookro (Steven Pulskamp), and Kerry Cookro (Daniel Haught); boyfriend, Louis Jendrus; mother, Carol Christian; siblings, Sandy, Sharon, John, Steve, and Matt; and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends, WEDNESDAY, November 2, 2022 from 4:00-6:00pm at Cox- McNulty Funeral Home, 1376 High Street, Wadsworth. A time of sharing will follow at 6:00pm at the funeral home.
