Kenneth Gleim Riedel, age 95, passed away Sunday, September 15, 2024, at Western Reserve Masonic Community. Ken was born July 11, 1929, in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Henry and Winifred (Thurmond) Riedel. He was a systems analyst for several companies in the greater Cleveland area. Ken was a 1947 graduate of Glenville High School and a 1956 graduate of Kent State University. Ken had a break in his education at Kent due to serving in the U.S. Army during the Korean War prior to graduating.

Ken had many talents, including being a skilled wood worker and he enjoyed needlepoint, a skill he mastered after searching for a hobby to pass time during long flights on trips for work. Ken won 3rd place on a piece he entered in the Nash County, North Carolina Fair when he was a resident there.

He was the beloved father of: Kristen (Dean) Fullerton of Medina and Kenneth (Catherine) Riedel of Copley; loving grandfather to: Anna Ruth Riedel and Emily Catherine Riedel; and step-grandfather to: Neil Fullerton and Samantha (Oceanne) Stone. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Winifred Riedel Beaver.

Funeral Services will be held on October 11, 2024, at 9:15 a.m. at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Road, Seville, Ohio 44273.
