Lawrence Emmett Ashley Obituary
Lawrence Emmett Ashley of Norton, Ohio passed away peacefully December 30, 2022. Lawrence was
born on May 26, 1934 in Massena, New York to the late Lawrence P. and Leona M. (Perry) Ashley.
He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Therese (Narrow) Ashley, and sons Steve and Mark
Ashley.
He is survived by his children Michael Ashley, Jennifer (Mike) Boyer, Lawrence Ashley II, Melissa
(Ken) Carnes, 15 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren.
Lawrence was an iron worker for Conweld Steel. After his retirement he enjoyed hunting, fishing,
sharing his love for the outdoors with his children and grandchildren, and loved cooking for them too.
Lawrence was an amazing husband, father, and grandpa who will be greatly missed.
At this time there will be no funeral service held. His family will hold a private service in late spring, up North.
