Leah Ellen “Susie” Rowe

Leah Ellen “Susie” Rowe (nee: Kaser), age 92, was called to her heavenly home by her Lord and Savior on September 23, 2022 at the Apostolic Christian Home in Rittman.
Mom was born in Norton, Ohio on August 3, 1930 to the late Harley and Maggie Kaser. She was a member of Ambassador Baptist Church and was very dedicated to her Lord and family. It was daily that she went to the Lord in prayer. She was married to her husband, Dean, on June 21, 1947 and they shared nearly 60 happy years together before his passing. 
Susie lived in Marshallville with her daughter Debbie for 2 years before entering the Apostolic Christian Home. She was an extremely hard worker having worked at Permold in Medina and then owning and operating her beauty salon, “Susie’s Beautitorium”, in Wadsworth. In later years, Mom and Dad owned and operated Top Value Service Station in Wadsworth. Mom always managed to keep a loving and sparkling home with delicious home cooked meals. She was an amazing lady with the most loving and kind heart; among all that our mom did, she made time to care for ill family members before their passing. 
Preceded in death by her husband, Dean; parents; and sisters, Betty Humes, Millie Wayts, and Helen Baker; brother, Jay Kaser; son-in-law, Doc Sexton; and niece, Barbara Chernick. 
Susie is survived by her daughters, Deanna (Jerry) Gasser and Debbie Sexton; beloved cat, Callie; 6 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren; nieces, Margaret (Bill) Martin and Shirley Trogdon; best friend, Sandy Howell; and extended family and friends. 
Thank you very, very much to the Apostolic Christian Home for taking excellent care of Mom. The Life Care Hospice team was and always are excellent, too. A special thank you to Dick Chernick and sons, Mike and Teddy for always being there to help Grandma. May the Lord Bless you all. 
Funeral Services will be held, WEDNESDAY, September 28, 2022 at 1:00pm at Cox- McNulty Funeral Home, 1376 High Street, Wadsworth. Pastor Michael Decker will officiate. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:30-1:00pm at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery, Wadsworth.
