September 9, 2025, Lenora “checked into” Heaven to be with the Lord.

On July 31, 1930, Aaron and Mable Tyler welcomed their first daughter, Lenora, into our world in Webster Springs, West Virginia. About eight years later, her sister Anna Lee arrived and all lived in Wainville, West Virginia, for many years. All have preceded her departure from this life.

Lenora became very responsible early in life due to her mother’s ill health as she provided care for her. She was loving mother to Terry and Treva and upon marrying Tony, to Carol and Karen. Lenora was a lab technician at Akron City Hospital for 26 years. She enjoyed reading the Bible, camping, holidays and watching football. Lenora especially enjoyed the grandkids’ overnight stays. She loved good food and socializing over it. The one food that got Lenora’s attention the fastest was a “Pecan Flurry”.

She is survived by children: Terry (Daryl) Perrine, Treva Wickwire, Karen Perrine; her son-in-law, Greg Stansky; her grandchildren: Benjamin, TA, Amanda, Bethany, Eric, Tony, Josh, Jason, Brandon and Ian; and her great-grandchildren: Billy, Ciara, Caleb, Tatum, Blake, Ryleigh and Tyler.

Lenora was preceded in death by her first husband, Gene Perrine; her second husband of 49 ½ years, Tony; and daughter, Carol Stansky.

Services will be on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, Cox-McNulty Funeral Home, 222 Norton Avenue, Barberton, Ohio. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. with services immediately following. Burial will take place at Greenlawn Cemetery, Akron.
