Leslie Claar Obituary

Barberton, OH – Leslie A. Claar, age 84, passed away November 15, 2018. Survived by his stepchildren Colleen (Jim) Thesing and Kevin (Darla) Hammons, grandsons Sean (Carly) Thesing and Cory (Taylor) Thesing, along with great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by both his wife, Patricia, nee Snyder and his sister, Patricia.

Les was born in Lilly, Pennsylvania and lived in the Akron/Barberton area for the past 60 years. Les had been an active member of St. John/St. Paul Lutheran Church. Les was an avid St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan. He had also been a longtime employee of both the A&P and Acme supermarkets.

Calling hours will be held at 10 AM, Friday, November 23, 2018 at Cox-McNulty Funeral Home, 222 Norton Ave., Barberton, with service immediately following at 11 AM.
