Lori Ann Skidmore, age 55 of Ashland, Ohio, passed away peacefully on February 27, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer.  Lori left us while resting peacefully under the exceptional care of LifeCare Hospice of Wooster, Ohio, surrounded by her family.

Lori was born September 4, 1969, in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee to the late Peggy (Frazier) Johnson and Gerald Braswell. Lori was a devoted home maker and dedicated her time to caring for her life partner, Kevin Smith, daughters, Frani and Sara, her dog, Tucker and other family members. Lori loved to travel and really enjoyed checking items off from her bucket list. Lori found fulfillment in volunteering at her local cancer center.

Lori was preceded in death by her father, Gerald Braswell; mother, Peggy (Frazier) Johnson; brother, David Braswell; nephew, Brendan Hall; and great-nephew, Logan Williams.  She is survived by her life partner, Kevin Smith; sister, Sherri (Bruce) Hall; daughters: Frani Gray and Sara Skidmore; and many nieces, nephews and other family.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 10, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. at the Eastern Road Church of God, 2600 Eastern Road, Rittman, Ohio 44270.
