The family of Lynette Johnsen is deeply saddened to announce her passing on June 4, 2026.  Born on July 25, 1949 in Massillon, OH, Lynette lived a full and creative life, enjoying many hobbies such as gardening, crafting and painting. After graduating from Massillon Washington High School ('67) and attending business school, she pursued a career in accounting and office management for several years until retirement. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Stuart Perry and survived by her husband William Johnsen of Wadsworth, her son, Shawn Perry (Christine) of Massillon, grandchildren Jane and Kathleen, and brothers William Selzer of Massillon and Michael Selzer (Jean) of Massillon and nephew Christopher. Lynette will be lovingly missed by all of those who knew her.

She will be laid to rest at Moore's Chapel Cemetery in Bath Township on Tuesday, June 9, 2026 at 11:30 am. Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Humane Society.
