Marcene Yvonne Dearth (nee: Parker), age 90, passed away December 28, 2022. She was born in Medina, Ohio on October 17, 1932, to the late Howard & Ethel Parker. Marcene was a volunteer EMT and firefighter in Sharon Township. She was an avid bowler and golfer and enjoyed rescuing and caring for animals.
Preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Clarence & Valjean Parker; brothers-in-law, Howard Dearth & Bud Browning; and father of her children, James Dearth.
She is survived by her children, Cheryl Dearth, Darrell Parker, and Carol (Steve) Mazak; grandchildren, Julie (Josue) Torres and Jacob Mazak; sister-in-law, June Browning; beloved cat, Dudley; and many loving nieces, nephews, extended family, friends, and neighbors.
The family would like to thank Hospice of the Western Reserve and Sharon Fire Department for their care and compassion.
The family will receive friends, WEDNESDAY, January 4, 2023, from 4:00-6:00pm at Cox- McNulty Funeral Home, 1376 High Street, Wadsworth. Graveside services will be held at Sharon Cemetery, THURSDAY, at 11:30am. Please meet at the cemetery.
