Maria Infante Campbell, 98, of Akron, Ohio died peacefully in her sleep on January 29th, 2025.
Maria was born on December 10th, 1927 to Roberto and Maria Infante in Santa Marta, Columbia.
In 1954, Maria met James Campbell, from Missouri, and they wed in 1955, going on to have three children, James, Diana and John. The family moved to Akron, Ohio in 1965 and Maria became a naturalized citizen in 1986.
Besides raising a family, Maria also worked in sales focusing on clothing and jewelry.
Maria will be remembered for her style, generosity and deep love for her family.
Maria was predeceased by her husband James and was the last of ten siblings. Maria is survived by children James, Diana, and John, and four grandchildren, Nathan, Alexa, Steven and Emma.
A private memorial service will be held at Sacred Heart of Jesus, Wadsworth.
