Marvetta Stephens Obituary

Marvetta S. Stephens of New Franklin, OH passed away April 17, 2022. She was born January 9, 1950, in Vulcan, WV to the late Mack and Ethel Estep. She was 72 years old.

Marvetta was a homemaker. She enjoyed playing the guitar and piano and singing in church. She also enjoyed playing games with her grandson Dereck through out the years. She was a Christian and of the Church of God Faith.

Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by a son, Jackie Stephens Jr; brothers, Richard and Arthur Estep; sister, Maxine McGrainer; and first husband, James Coleman Sr.

Survivors remaining to honor her memory include her husband of 45 years, Jackie (Arkansas) Stephens; son, James (Wendy) Coleman; grandson, Dereck (Casey) Coleman; sister, Deb Compton (Neil). She is also survived by many more family and friends.

Interment will take place at Rittman Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio.
