Mary Sauer (nee Stauffer), age 90, of Chippewa Township, passed away May 28, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of family and teaching. A graduate of Kent State University, she was proud of her education and teaching and found great joy in working with her students.
She was married to her late husband, Ralph Sauer, for more than fifty years. Mary is survived by her children, Rebecca Kowalski (Dan) and Doug Sauer (Misty); granddaughter, Maren; and many friends.
Mary loved her family, gardening, baking, and teaching, and was always available for her family and friends.
A private celebration of life will be held.
