TOGETHER AGAIN-- Mary J. Stallman, age 88, departed this world on February 25, 2021. She joins the love of her life, husband, Delbert; mother, Cecelia Meredith Griffin; grandson, Davey Patterson; brothers, Jack and Bill Meredith; sister, Betty Ball; and best friend, Evelyn Carlson. She is survived by her four children and their spouses, Pam (Dave) Patterson, Gene (Robbie) Stallman, Teri (Mike) McFarland, Sandy (Milan) Stanojevic; eleven grandchildren and twenty great- grandchildren.
Our Mother was the best definition and example of a daughter, sister, mother, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother and friend.
As children, we have great memories of our mom. She taught us and our friends, to play card games, domino’s, croquet, badminton, jacks, hide and seek and kick the can.
As adults, she was always there for us, whether as our confidant or babysitting the grandchildren she adored.
Mom was a friend to many. She loved playing bingo and cards at the Norton, Kenmore and Coventry Senior Centers, card parties, cooking dinners for her friends, and baking her special graham cracker chocolate pecan cookies. And, how she loved to tell jokes. She was an avid fisherman. She couldn’t wait for weekends to go to the cabin at Clendenning Lake. Give her a fishing pole and her straw hat and she was happy.
Mary was a lifelong member of Immaculate Conception Church of Kenmore.
A special thank you to Heartland Hospice for their gentle care and compassion.
