Mary “Lil” Stokes, age 76, was born August 22, 1948, to parents, Tony and Anne, and passed away June 30, 2025. She was a very warm-hearted, loving and devoted wife, mother and sister. Mary was known for her honorable, hard-working and compassionate personality. She enjoyed visiting Myrtle Beach, doing crafts and being an awesome homemaker to her family. Mary was gentle and always striving to bring happiness to others.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Tony and Anne; her siblings: Anthony Weiman, Dave Weiman and Kathryn Miller; and her beloved husband, C. Edward Stokes.

Mary is survived by her sons: Vincent and Eric (Julie); her siblings: Jul (Ed) Miller, Carol (Ed) Stinnett, Steve Weiman, Betsy Weiman, Barb (Mark) Leffler; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

Visitation will be held Monday, July 7, 2025, at Cox-McNulty Funeral Home, 222 Norton Avenue, Barberton, Ohio 44203, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. with a graveside service the following day, Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at 2:30 p.m. at Holy Cross Cemetery, 100 East Waterloo Road, Akron, Ohio 44319.
